Cycling in Hyde Park

 Happy Friday! How about going cycling? Let`s go to Hyde Park,hire a Barclay Bike and start rolling...

Barclays Cycle Hire (BCH) is a public bicycle sharing scheme in London, in the UK. The scheme's bicycles are popularly known as 'Boris Bikes', after Boris Johnson, who was the Mayor of London when the scheme was launched on 30 July 2010.

Hyde Park is one of the largest parks in central London, and one of the Royal Parks of London, famous for its Speakers' Corner.

The park is divided in two by the Serpentine. The park is contiguous with Kensington Gardens; although often still assumed to be part of Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens has been technically separate since 1728, when Queen Caroline made a division between the two..

Hyde Park covers 142 hectares (350 acres) and Kensington Gardens covers 111 hectares , giving an overall area of 253 hectares , making the combined area larger than the Principality of Monaco , though smaller than New York City's Central Park  and Dublin's Phoenix park . To the southeast, outside the park, is Hyde Park Corner. 

Although, during daylight, the two parks merge seamlessly into each other, Kensington Gardens closes at dusk but Hyde Park remains open throughout the year from 5 am until midnight.

The Royal Albert Hall is a concert hall on the northern edge of South Kensington, in the City of Westminster,London, England, best known for holding the annual summer Proms concerts since 1941. It has a capacity (depending on configuration of the event) of up to 5272 seats, however standing areas and stage specifications can increase or decrease this. The Hall is a registered charity held in trust for the nation and receives no public or central and local government funding.

Since its opening by Queen Victoria in 1871, the world's leading artists from several performance genres have appeared on its stage and it has become one of the UK's most treasured and distinctive buildings. Each year it hosts more than 350 events including classical concerts, rock and pop, ballet and opera, sports, award ceremonies, school and community events, charity performances and banquets.
