Dear Diary,
I can`t believe that the weather is like this since October! Well, I do expect it to get worse at some point cause it`s London and it`s winter but until then let`s enjoy whatever the weather brings and explore the amazing city of London.
Today`s destination: London Eye. This breathtaking structure stands a few meters away from Big Ben.
The London Eye is a giant Ferris
wheel on the South Bank of the River
Thames in London,England. Also known as the Millennium Wheel, its
official name was originally the British Airways London Eye, then
the Merlin Entertainments London Eye, and since January 2011,
the EDF Energy London Eye.
The entire structure is 135 meters tall and when erected in
1999 it was the world's tallest Ferris wheel, the most popular
paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over
3.5 million visitors annually.
The London Eye was designed by architects Frank Anatole, Nic Bailey,
Steve Chilton, Malcolm Cook, Mark Sparrowhawk, and the husband-and-wife team of
Julia Barfield and David Marks.
I'm in a rush...
Happy Monday guys!
Take care and don`t forget to enjoy yourselves wherever you are.
Until next time,
Tons of kisses*
Litsiana K.
