Dear Diary,

New month, new season but it`s still summer in my heart and not only there, lol!

It`s so damn hot here in Greece.

About two weeks ago, I went on vacations. I spent 5 amazing days on an island, Corfu.

I went there with Xenia who I`d not seen since our trip to Berlin at Easter.

Xenia had already been to Corfu so she knew where to go, what to eat and what the highlights are. I had the best guide I could ask for!

Day1 

Part of day 1 was spent driving from Thessaloniki to Igoumenitsa (3,5h) and taking the boat from there so as to reach Corfu (1,5h). Then we had to head to the south, to Benitses where our hotel was.

We got ready and went to Corfu to get ourself lost in Kantounia; tiny, picturesque streets filled with people strolling around, cute small local shops and places where traditional cuisine is served.  

Day2

It`s high time we hit the beach! 

Canal d`Amour for the win and someone to pinch me coz certainly I`m dreaming...

So beautiful a place that the camera couldn`t grasp its beauty....
grrrrr!

I have so many mental pics that I wish I could print them off...

Day3

The place that I fell in love with was in Paleokastritsa, La Grotta.

When rocks and the sea meet, people stand in awe.

We took a ship and went to an opposite bay called Limni. 

Virgin places that look like mankind has never stood its feet on...

Day4

After having breakfast in the town we headed north to Avlaki beach. 

One word to describe the scenery: Endless Blue...

Day5

We left for the very end the famous Pontikonisi.

Don`t forget that travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer....
