British Summer Time!/Hyde Park

Dear Diary,

Work is officially over... Whoop whoop!
That means that summer holidays are about to start!
Let's go back in time tho...and in particular about a month ago and to
British Summer Time that took place at Hyde Park.
I went there with (who else?!?!) my partner in crime, Balbina and we had a blast! What's better than being kids again on a Friday evening in between workplaces???
 It was extra refreshing!
The weather was amazing and the place was super cool!
We went there on the opening day (not crowded at all, thank God!) and we tried everything they had to offer!!! We had our free frozen yogurt dose, free cereal bars, free flash tattoos, free chalk coloured hair, a free wing carousel ride and a free 100m high ride!!!
In a few words; we were spoiled rotten!

Be spontaneous and crazy!
You gonna love it, I promise!
Till next summer post,
A thousand kisses,
Litsiana K.

A dusk of colours!/Serpentine/Kensington Gardens

Dear Diary,

Let`s talk about colours!
What`s your favourite colour?
Black, white and grey are the classic ones. But, life needs a hint of a vivid smash!
For me, my mood is a colour. It can be pink, yellow, green, blue, etc and based on it I choose the colour I`m gonna put on.

This summer, two Spanish architects spread their colourful creativity over Serpentine Gallery`s area leaving us in awe!

José Selgas and Lucía Cano, for the 15th Serpentine Pavilion in London, have introduced a "chrysalis-like" structure made from colourful see-through plastic.
Occupying a space in front of the Serpentine Gallery in London's Kensington Gardens, the temporary pavilion is envisioned as a series of connected spaces of different shapes and sizes, made from a double-layer shell of opaque and transparent fluorine-plastic fabric (ETFE) in an array of colours.
The plastic will filter the daylight like a stained-glass window, casting coloured light into the interior spaces, which include a central gathering area and cafe.
"We sought a way to allow the public to experience architecture through simple elements: structure, light, transparency, shadows, lightness, form, sensitivity, change, surprise, colour and materials," said the Madrid-based architects.
"The spatial qualities of the pavilion only unfold when accessing the structure and being immersed within it. Each entrance allows for a specific journey through the space, characterised by colour, light and irregular shapes with surprising volumes."

Keep clam and colour your life with the colours YOU want!
Till next post!
Kiss kiss,
Litsiana K.

Sunday 5 July 2015

A gloomy Sunday in Brighton!

Dear Diary,

The weather in London, the past 2 months, is a pain in the a£$. Seriously, it`s lovely during the weekdays and it is always shitty on the weekends! WHY????
During the week, I don`t really mind what the weather looks like since I work all day long and have no free time to enjoy the glorious weather, At the weekends, I`m off work and more than ready to enjoy both days to the fullest but, the weather is gloomy, windy or even cold.....
Last weekend, Sunday was mua but I decided to go to Brighton, Of couse, I did check the  weather forecast but still, I couldn`t hold myself back. I miss the sea, the beach and the sand sooooo much.
The streets in Brighton were full of people! It`s really lovely walking and exploring the place for one more time!
I reached the beach but it was impossible to take off my clothes and sunbathe. It`s cold and windy. The sun was playing hide and seek but mostly hide, lol !

The sea makes me happy!
It sets me free; in a way, it`s my home!
Till next time...
Kiss kiss,
Litsiana K.
