Soho Square

 Dear Diary,

Happy New Year everyone! Happy 2014! I wish this year to be prosperous and may this new and promising 2014 bring whatever good the previous one didn`t manage to. What did you do on NYE?  I dined at a chic Italian restaurant, Caffe Concerto and then I went to see the fireworks at Westminster Abbey. A bottle of something liquid accompanied each and everyone who celebrated the NYE outdoors so I had my own bubbly bottle of champagne.

New Year, New post. Setting was chosen; Soho Square!I like Squares like crazy, you know that already...

Soho Square is a square in Soho, London, with a park and garden area at its center that dates back ιν 1681. It was originally called King Square after Charles II, whose statue stands in the square. In the center of the garden, there is a distinctive half-timbered gardener's hut. During the summer, it hosts open-air free concerts.
The square is also home to St. Patrick's Church a large Roman Catholic Parish church that features extensive catacombs that spread deep under the Square and further afield.

Streets running off of the square, from north clockwise, are Soho Street, Sutton Row, Greek Street, Batemans Buildings, Frith Street and Carlisle Street

Goodbye 2013.
You made me laugh, you made me cry.
It`s time to move on...
You too guys.
NY`s Cheers*
